Your Therapist

DYLAN NEWCOMER, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy, Kent, WA

Dylan's clinical focus includes throwing athletes, ACL rehab, and high-performance return to sport. He brings years of strength and conditioning experience to his practice inside Driveline Baseball's Kent facility, with radar, arm-health testing, indoor mounds, and a full strength floor.

Sessions combine clinical care with progressive strength work, throwing or sport exposure, and objective benchmarks. The goal is to restore the capacity your sport demands and guide the full path back to practice and competition.

The Facility

BUILT FOR REHAB AND ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT.

We operate inside Driveline Baseball, a training facility built for athlete development. Throwing rehab uses radar, arm-health testing, mounds, cages, and the strength floor. Athletes ready for performance motion capture, live at-bats, or pitch design can transition to Driveline's development staff under the same roof.

The Process

HOW THIS WORKS

01

EVALUATE

Seventy-five-minute one-on-one assessment. Range of motion, strength, movement quality, throwing mechanics, and your full injury and training history. If you have imaging, we review it. If we need more data, we use the Driveline lab. You leave with a clear diagnosis and a plan.

02

TREAT & TRAIN

Every session combines physical therapy with training. Manual therapy, strength work, throwing progression, and data collection all happen in one facility. Standard follow-up visits are 45 minutes, one-on-one, with Dylan.

03

PROGRESS WITH DATA

Every milestone is objective. Strength benchmarks, range-of-motion targets, velocity thresholds, and workload tolerance guide when the program progresses.

04

RETURN TO COMPETITION

Full competitive throwing, game-speed demands, and performance testing come before clearance. We stay involved through the transition back to full competition.

Pricing Model

CASH-BASED. ON PURPOSE.

We don't bill insurance because the care we deliver doesn't fit an insurance model. No visit caps. No handoffs to aides. No 15-minute time slots. Superbills provided for out-of-network reimbursement.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

After finishing early rehab from Tommy John surgery, I knew I needed a place that went beyond the basics. Athletic Potential built a fully customized return-to-throw plan and continued rehab/performance program around my needs. The process was collaborative from start to finish, and I surpassed my goal, with my fastball back to 96 mph with my offspeed and breaking balls looking sharp.
