Return-to-sport rehabilitation

FEELING BETTER IS THE START. PRACTICE IS THE TEST.

We rebuild the speed, strength, conditioning, and sport exposure that a pain-free clinic exam cannot measure.

This may fit if

Before full return

Daily life feels normal, but practice still exposes a gap
You are medically cleared but do not trust the injured area
Running is back, but sprinting, cutting, or jumping is not
Prior PT ended before full-speed sport work returned

Clearance uses the injury, healing timeline, testing, training exposure, confidence, and the medical team when one is involved.

WHAT DOES YOUR SPORT ACTUALLY ASK YOU TO DO?

Running in a straight line, reacting to an opponent, landing under fatigue, throwing at full intent, and surviving a week of practice are different problems. Your testing should reflect that.

01

Strength

Can the injured side produce and absorb enough force?

02

Speed

Can you move fast without losing control or changing the task?

03

Power

Can you jump, land, throw, or strike with intent?

04

Repeatability

Can you hold the same quality after several hard efforts?

05

Sport exposure

Have you practiced the work you are about to return to?

BUILD IT. TEST IT. PRACTICE IT. PLAN THE RETURN.

BUILD

Close the physical gap

Restore the force, power, speed, and conditioning that dropped during injury and early rehab.

TEST

Measure what matters

Choose tests that match the injury, the athlete, and the work ahead. One universal score cannot answer every return question.

EXPOSE

Practice the hard parts

Sprinting, cutting, jumping, throwing, reacting, and fatigue enter rehab before full practice asks for them.

PLAN

Manage the first weeks back

Practice, lifting, conditioning, travel, and competition need to fit together without a sudden workload spike.

RETURNING AFTER ACL RECONSTRUCTION?

ACL rehab has its own long-course plan, with staged strength work, objective testing, running, cutting, jumping, and months of return preparation.

Explore ACL Rehab

BEFORE YOU RETURN.

A consultation can help determine whether you need more rehab, more sport exposure, or a better plan for the first weeks back.

Do I need to be a competitive athlete?

No. Recreational runners, lifters, skiers, court athletes, and active adults still need to prepare for the demands they are returning to.

Can I start after finishing PT somewhere else?

Yes. We test what has returned, find what is still missing, and compare your current training with the activity you want to resume.

Do you work with coaches and surgeons?

Yes, with your permission. Shared information helps the medical restrictions, rehab work, and practice workload fit together.
